Generations Home Healthcare LLC was born of personal experience. For many years John and Karen Hess, while both employed as corporate executives, were involved in healthcare; John as a trustee for a medical center, rehabilitation center and health system, Karen through devoting significant service to local charitable organizations including a pediatric rehabilitation hospital.
When the Hess’ were confronted with providing and assisting with care to elderly relatives, their experiences were frustrating and emotionally draining. They took this personal experience with the home healthcare industry and transformed it into a positive resource for others. Generations was thus established both to fill a much-needed service niche, but also to make a meaningful social contribution focusing on compassion, professionalism, and true caring.
